August 31st, 2013 - Howard Moore Battles the Handle at I-30
Howard Moore made the trek to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night for another round of the COMP Cams Interstate Cup in the #40 Shorty Chambliss/J&J Sprint Car.

Twenty-four entries took to the oval, and after starting 6th in his heat race Moore enjoyed a great run to a 2nd place finish, which locked him into the 2nd starting spot for the main event. Unfortunately in the feature Howard would battle a loose condition as he slipped to a 14th place finish. Even though it wasn't the finish that they would've liked the Howard and the team had a great night hanging out together, and now look forward to enjoying the rest of their Labor Day weekend together.

August 24th, 2013 - Howard Moore Finishes 4th at Riverside
1Howard Moore piloted the Shorty Chambliss #40 Country Ford/J&J/Dynotech Racing Engine Sprint Car in a Weekly Racing Series Event in the 360 Sprint Car division at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday evening.

Nineteen entries took to the 1/4 mile oval for the program, and after starting on the pole of his heat race Howard charged to the win to lock into the 4th starting spot for the finale. In the main event he raced in the top five throughout the feature before crossing the finish line in 4th behind race winner, Brad Bowden, Dalton Davis, and Eddie Gallagher.

August 17th, 2013 - Howard Moore Back in Action at Riverside
1After a week away from the track Howard Moore was once again behind the wheel of the Jimmy Jones #9J Sprinter in a Weekly Racing Series Event with 305 Sprint Car division at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday evening.

Late evening rains delayed the start of the program to 9:30pm, and with 16 entries on hand Moore raced from the 4th starting spot in his heat race to a 2nd place finish, which locked him into the 5th starting spot for the finale. He would run in the top five early in the event before he decided to retire early after the motor began making strange sounds. He was credited with a 10th place finish.

August 3rd, 2013 - Howard Moore Competes in Cody Burks Memorial
1Howard Moore participated in a very special event on Saturday night at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) as they entered the inaugural Cody Burks Memorial, which paid homage to the young driver that tragically lost his life in a highway accident last year.

Twenty-three entries 305 Sprint Cars registered for action, and via preliminary action Howard locked into the 10th starting spot for the feature in Jimmy Jones #9J Sprinter. Unfortunately Moore's chances at a good finish came to an abrupt end on lap 5, when he hooked a rut, which caused him to bicycle and hit the wall. The damage wasn't extensive, but it was enough to bring his night to a disappointing, early end in the 17th position.
