May 18th, 2013 - Mechanical Issues Strike Again for Howard Moore
The team traveled to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night to pay hommage to racing legend, Hooker Hood, in the annual Hooker Hood Classic at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas).

Twenty-nine entries were on hand for the $3,000-to-win program, but unfortunately bad luck struck in hot laps when it was discovered that the pin was stripped out of the gear at the bottom of the magneto. In an effort to make sure that no further damage was incurred, the team decided to scratch from the balance of the program.

May 11th, 2013 - Howard Moore Battles Mechanical Issues in ASCS Action
1After watching Mother Nature continue to wreak havoc over their schedule the past few weeks the team traveled to the brand-new, Timberline speedway (Corley, Texas) on Friday night for a Lucas Oil ASCS Lone Star Region event.

Twenty-two Sprint Cars entered the program, and the night started with difficulties, when the master cylinder went out in his heat race. With help from Mike Ward the team was able to make repairs for the feature, where Howard started seventeenth before advancing to a fourteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

Saturday night took the team to 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Texas) for another Lucas Oil ASCS Lone Star Region Sprint Car program. Twenty-seven entries filled the pit area, and unfortunately Howard would again endure mechanical issues. After making changes to the car following hot laps Moore battled the handle on his mount in his heat and had to head pit side. More changes were made to the car for the b-main, and he began moving forward before losing his brakes, which caused his night to come to an early end.
