August 20, 2016 - Howard Moore Snares Runner-Up Finish at New Senoia
1Howard Moore traveled to Georgia on Saturday, where he was finally able to dodge Mother Nature, as he competed in the United Sprint Car Series (USCS) event at New Senoia Raceway.

Twenty-entries looked to tame the 3/8-mile, gumbo oval, and Howard opened his outing by winning his heat race from the 4th-starting spot. Via passing points he earned a spot in the feature redraw, where he was the recipient of the 4th-starting spot.

He raced in the Top 5 early in the event before a rain shower forced a 40-minute delay on lap 13. When the race resumed Howard jumped into the 2nd-spot and began pressuring Turpen for the lead. In fact he took the lead on lap 23 only to have a caution negate the pass.

In the final two-lap dash to the checkers he would go on to finish 2nd to Turpen with Lance Moss, Terry Gray, and Curt Terrell completing the balance of the Top 5.

August 6, 2016 - Podium Finish at Riverside for Howard Moore
1Howard Moore made the short trip to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night to compete in the 4th annual Cody Burks Memorial.

Howard began the night with a great handle on his #40 Dynamic Electric Sprinter at the historic, 1/4-mile oval.

"We went out for hot laps and the car was perfect," noted Moore.

After finishing 3rd in his heat race, Howard started 6th on the grid for the finale.

"The car was good on the bottom until my right-rear tire started to lose air," Howard commented.

He would fight his way to a 3rd-place finish behind race winner, Marshall Skinner, and Zach Pringle.
