May 31, 2016 - Howard Moore Embarks on USCS Speedweek

With 36-entries on the grounds, Howard recorded a runner-up finish in his heat race, which locked him into the 11th-starting spot for the finale. As the finale went green Howard began marching forward through the pack, but just past the halfway point he hooked a rut, causing him to spin. He would rejoin the tail of the field before recovering to finish 9th.

Saturday night took the team to Jackson Motor Speedway (Bytam, Mississippi) for the second-round of the Speedweek. The entry list increased to 39, and Howard started his night by storming from the 5th-starting spot in his heat race to take the win. Via his heat-race performance Howard earned the pole position for the finale.

On the second lap of the feature event, bad luck bit Howard when a car came down the track into him. The ensuing contact caused Howard to do a few 360's. He would be able to keep rolling, but unfortunately received a flat tire. He rejoined the tail of the field with a fresh tire, but was unable to advance any higher than 18th in the caution-plagued event.

Tthe United Sprint Car Series held the thrid round of their 11th Annual Mid-South Speedweek at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Sunday evening. With 36-entries on hand Howard advanced from the 6th-starting spot in heat race to a 3rd-place finish.

He would accumulate enough points to lock into the 8th-starting position for the finale. Early in the race Moore initially dropped a few spots before marching his way back into the 6th position. Unfortunately bad luck would soon find him again as incidental contact with another car caused him to flip. Luckily he was uninjured. He was credited with a 20th-place finish.

May 14, 2016 - Top-Ten Run for Howard Moore in Hooker Hood Classic
1Howard Moore entered the 7th Annual Hooker Hood Classic at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday evening in his Dynamic Electric #40 Sprinter.

Heat race action found Howard starting in the 2nd-position and leading every lap until the final circuit, when he slipped to a runner-up finish. Via his heat race finish he started 4th on the grid in the feature.

With the bottom groove being the dominant line for the 40-lapper, Howard struggled to hold his car in the low line as he slipped to a 7th-place finish.

May 7, 2016 - Howard Moore Registers Fourth-Place Run at I-30 Speedway
Howard Moore returned to competition on Saturday night with a trip to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) for a National Sprint League Diamond Region event at the 1/4-mile oval.

Twenty-five entries entered the event, and Howard won his heat race from the pole position. His heat race performance locked Moore into the 3rd-starting spot for the finale.

The first lap of the feature found Moore getting out of shape in turn 1, but he was luckily able to save his mount from spinning. He fell back to the 7th-position. To make up lost ground Howard headed to the high side of the track, and began marching back forward in the running order.

He would go ont to finish 4th behind race winner, Tim Crawley, A.G. Rains, and Andy McElhannon. Overall it was a great night at the track.
