July 30, 2017 - Lucas Oil ASCS Action Takes Howard Moore North
1Howard Moore made the long tow north to Iowa on Saturday and Sunday as he entered a pair of Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) events.

Action opened on Saturday evening, when Howard made his debut at the legendary Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa). A stellar field of 62 entries took part in the event and qualifying resulted in Howard starting 10th in his heat race.

He advanced to a 9th-place finish in his heat, which sent him to the B-Main, where he started 20th. He would go on to advance to a 12th-place finish in the consolation event, but with only the Top-2 finishers transferring to the feature his night came to an early end.

Despite not having the outing that he would've like Howard was grateful to finally get some laps around the 1/2-mile oval as he prepares for next weekend's Knoxville 360 Nationals.

On Sunday evening Howard competed at Mason City Motor Speedway (Mason City, Iowa) for the first time. Twenty-five competitors entered the event at the 1/2-mile clay oval. Via his performance in preliminary action Howard started 21st in the 20-lap finale. He passed four cars to finish 17th.

July 8, 2017 - Runner-Up Performance at I-30 Speedway for Howard Moore
1Howard Moore opened his weekend of racing with a trip to Columbus, Mississippi on Friday night to do battle with the United Sprint Car Series at Columbus Speedway.

Twenty-four entries were looking to take their shot at taming the bullring, and Howard earned the 12th-starting spot for the feature after finishing 5th in his heat race.

The 30-lap main event found Moore climbing six spots on his way to a 6th-place finish.

Tthe team rolled into I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night to do battle in a Weekly Racing Series Event.

With 17 entries in the pits, Howard charged from the 5th starting spot to take a 2nd-place finish in his heat race. Via passing points Howard earned a front-row starting spot for the feature, where he was joined by Brian Bell.

Bell grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag with Howard in tow. Moore would pressure Bell for the lead on multiple occasions, especially in lapped traffic late in the event. Despite his best efforts Howard would have to settle for a runner-up finish behind Bell.

July 1, 2017 - Howard Moore Competes in Busy Fourth of July Weekend
1Howard Moore kicked off a busy holiday weekend of action by entering the rescheduled United Sprint Car Series (USCS) event at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday evening.

Twenty-six competitors registered for competition and after advancing from 4th to 2nd in his heat race, Moore was positioned in the 4th-starting spot for the 30-lap, A-Main. He raced in the Top 5 throughout the event before ultimately crossing the finish line in the 4th position behind Jordon Mallett, Tim Crawley, and Andy McElhannon. Jeff Swindell completed the Top-5 finishers.

Sunday evening found the team competing in a $2,000-to-win, American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Mid-South Region event at Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas). Howard began his night by winning his heat race from the 3rd-starting spot.

He would go on to start 2nd in the feature and pursued Brian Bell for the lead for the duration of the event before settling for a runner-up finish.

Monday night's scheduled ASCS Mid-South region event at Crowley's Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) fell victim to rain so the team headed north to Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Missouri) to compete in an ASCS Warrior Region event.

With 35 entries on hand Howard won his heat race from the 3rd-starting spot. In the redraw he received the 3rd-starting spot for the feature.

Howeard had high hopes for the finale, but an ill-handling car found him slipping back to a 13th-place finish.
