September 30, 2017 - Howard Moore Finishes 6th in Ralph Henson Memorial
1The 10th annual Ralph Henson Memorial took Howard Moore to Tracey Clay's I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night.

A strong field of 32 entries were on hand to chase the $2,046 top prize in the event, which was sanctioned by the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Mid-South Region.

After advancing two spots to a fourth-place finish in his heat race, Howard earned a spot in the pole-sitter's dash. A third-place run in the dash locked Howard into that starting spot for the 25-lap finale.

The drop of the green flag found Howard losing a trio of spots. He would race just outside the Top 5 for the remainder of the feature before notching a 6th-place finish.

"I would've like a little better run, but it was still a solid night for our team," Moore commented. "I would like to give a shout out to KDN Promotions and Xtreme Towing and Recovery for putting up the extramoney for us racers last night. I was one of the fortunate recipients that was able to benefit from it, and I really appreciate it."

September 23, 2017 - Podium Finish for Moore in the Fall Nationals
1Howard Moore entered the annual Fall Nationals at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) on Saturday night in his Lawn Jox #40 Maxim Sprint Car.

With 19 entries in action, a 2nd-place finish in his heat race sent Howard to the feature in the 3rd-starting spot.

On a tacky and fast surface he would race in a podium spot throughout the feature before crossing the finish line in the 3rd spot behind Cody Gardner and Zach Pringle.

September 16, 2017 - Disappointing, Early End in I-30 Speedway Outing
1Howard Moore invaded I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday night, where he was one of 23 entries taking part in a Weekly Racing Series Event.

Howard won his heat race from the pole position, which sent him to the feature in the 7th-starting spot.

Early in the feature he quickly advanced to the fourth position. On more than one occasion Howard would take over the third spot only to have the caution nullify the pass.

Near the race's midway point Howard was again trying to make his way into a podium position, when the top two runners tangled. Unfortunately Moore would be collected in the melee. While he received minimal damage, the incident would still bring the team's night to a disappointing early end.

September 9, 2017 - Howard Moore Masters I-30 Speedway
Howard Moore charged late to take the lead and ultimately the win on Saturday night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) in American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Mid-South Region and ASCS Red River Region competition.

Twenty-nine entries tackled the 1/4-mile oval, and a heat race win from the 3rd-starting spot sent Howard to the feature.

After starting 3rd in the 25-lapper Howard stalked early leaders Charlie Louden and Alex Sewell. By lap 10 Moore took over the runner-up spot in his Dynamic Electric #40 Sprinter. As he began to reel in the leader, Louden, in lap traffic the front runner slowed with issues.

Howard inherited the lead and went on to drive away from the field to score his fourth win of the year. Andy McElhannon, Seth Bergman, Derek Hagar, and Alex Sewell completed the Top-5 finishers.
