July 28, 2018 - Part Failure Ends Howard Moore's Night at I-30 Speedway
1The American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Mid-South Region and Red River Region hooked horns on Saturday night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas), where Howard was one of 24 entries.

He started his outing with a heat-race win from the third-starting spot, which earned him a spot in the redraw.

A seven in the redraw found Howard starting on the fourth row for the 25-lap feature. Early in the race Moore worked his way into the third position, but bad luck struck on lap 16. The rear mount broke on the top wing of his familiar #40 Sprint Car, allowing the wing to fall forward.

Howard ducked into the pits, but the feature resumed before he could rejoin the pack, which brought his night to an early end in the 14th position.

Howard continues to lead the ASCS Mid-South Region points. Full results from the event are available at
